Most of our physiotherapy is carried out in conjunction with Fay Fretton. She is a fully qualified animal physio, being a member of the National Association of Animal Therapists. We use Physiotherapy much more to deal with dog and cat injuries nowadays. This means much quicker return to normal movement and often avoids the use of drugs. In conjunction with the hydrotherapists we can offer a wide range of treatments to suit the individual pet's needs. As well as manipulation and massage, we use ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation and magnetic therapy as appropriate to get your pet back on his feet. This is also now a routine part of pet care at our Veterinary Hospital, to help your pet get back to normal as soon as possible.

Fay will usually see your pet at the Centre, although home visits can be made where necessary. She works closely with Harry Scott, our Orthopaedic specialist. We find that the genuine collaboration of several disciplines works really well, and we are developing this all the time.
